I hadn't intended in going to the see Coldplay. I'm not much of a fan and the tickets when they came out were more expensive than I was willing to pay. The concert was well worth it though.

I celebrated another successful journey around the sun on October 9th by having lunch with friends out at Cafe Sophia, Eden of the Bay in Big Bay. The weather was gorgeously warm and sunny, perfect after a week of rain. This however meant that everyone and their entire extended families was headed to the beach. I ended up sitting in traffic on the Blouberg beach road but it wasn't all bad. There were lots of kites out and they were very pretty. Sitting in traffic means I could take a few pics too.

So the quest for this weekend on twitter was to reach 15000 words by the end of Sunday night, 5000 more than the required 10000 for those keeping on pace with 1667 words per day.

I picked up this quest at lunchtime on Saturday when I was already on pace for the day and decided what the hell, this isn't so hard, I've done more in the last weekend before.

My wrists now hate me and I wrote a whopping total of 6717 words today but I have unlocked this achievement.
